TU Overall Score
The purpose of creating the TU Overall Score is to make the search for secure and reliable brokerage companies easier for the visitors of our website. We believe that it is a very important mission as, unfortunately, not every company in the financial industry is worthy of trust.

According to our idea, the TU Overall Score indicator should answer the biggest question of all: “Can I trust this broker with my money?”. The scores range within 0.01 – 9.99 (the higher the indicator the more trust the broker has). More details

Summary of AMEGA Trading Company

AMEGA is a broker with higher-than-average risk and the TU Overall Score of 3.96 out of 10. Having reviewed trading opportunities offered by the company and reviews posted by AMEGA clients on our website, Traders Union expert Anton Kharitonov recommends users to consider a more reliable broker with better conditions, as, according to reviews, many clients of this broker are not satisfied with the company’s work. AMEGA ranks 219 among 413 companies featured in the TU Ranking, which is based on the evaluation of 100+ criteria and a test on how to open an account.

AMEGA was introduced into the financial market more than 10 years ago. This fact is the obvious evidence of its stability. Forex AMEGA has been popular in Russia only in  2017. The broker established itself as a modern service with a wide range of attractive services which would be interested for traders as for partners.

Regulation and safety The score for this parameter is based on the licenses a company holds. The higher the level of the license, the higher the score. Obtaining licenses in other jurisdictions also improves a broker’s score. We divide all licenses into three levels:

Level 1 jurisdictions (high level of trust): CFTC – USA, FINMA – Switzerland, FCA — UK, ASIC – Australia, CBI – Ireland, JFSA — Japan, MAS – Singapore, FMA — New Zealand, IIROC – Canada, SFC – Hong Kong.

Level 2 jurisdictions (medium level of trust): CySEC – Cyprus, FSCA – South Africa, CBRC – China, SEBI – India, ISA – Israel, SECT – Thailand, DFSA – United Arab Emirates

Level 3 jurisdictions (low level of trust): FSC – Belize, FSC – British Virgin Islands, FSC – Mauritius, VFSC – Vanuatu, SCB – The Bahamas, BMA – Bermuda, CIMA – Cayman Islands

Commissions and fees This parameter comprises a comprehensive analysis of all commissions and fees charged by a brokerage company, including trading and deposit/withdrawal fees. Also specific fees, for example the inactivity fee, are taken into account in the final score for the fees. Users can find detailed fees charged by a company in the broker’s profile.

7.71

/10

Trading instruments For this parameter, we evaluate the number of trading assets a broker offers access to in each group of financial instruments. We analyze the quotes a broker offers on Forex pairs, metals, indices, commodities, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. This parameter also includes evaluation of broker’s investment programs, for example access to copy trading, which we regard as an additional type of a trading instrument.

6.37

/10

Brand popularity Traders Union experts are confident that brand awareness mostly fully reflects the real state of affairs in a company – the more popular the broker, the more people trust it. The score for this indicator is based on the data analysis of such services as Ahrefs and SemRush, which show how often a company’s brand is searched on Google. In addition, indicators of the SimilarWeb service, which show the approximate number of visitors of the broker’s website, are also taken into consideration. We also review disclosed official reports of brokers, which allow for evaluating their client base.

4.05

/10

Customer support The score of this parameter is based on the number of available communication channels of a company’s support service. The quicker and easier it is to contact the broker’s support, the higher the score. We check every available support channel, test the speed of processing of requests and completeness of provided information through several interactions.

3.91

/10

Education This parameter provides an evaluation of a company’s capacity to work with beginners. Only quality training and provision of full and unbiased information can help novice traders and investors minimize the risks of losing money, even when working with top-ranked companies. Brokers with useful educational and informational tools, including webinars, tutorials, podcasts and articles, receive higher scores.

Trade with this broker, if:

  • You prioritize leverage. Amega offers high leverage ratios (1:1000), which can magnify potential profits but also amplify losses. Use leverage cautiously and understand the risks involved.

Do not trade with this broker, if:

  • You're concerned about hidden fees. While Amega advertises commission-free trading, there may be other fees like spreads, financing charges, and withdrawal fees. Research these thoroughly.
  • You prioritize regulation and security. Amega is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which has less stringent regulations compared to some other jurisdictions.
  • You seek negative balance protection. Amega does not offer this feature. This means you could potentially lose more than your deposited funds if your trades go against you. Consider this risk carefully.

I became an AMEGA client not very long ago and I have no complaints so far. The broker's experience seems to be serious, although there are also negative reviews. The trading platform works well, I have not encountered any serious glitches. AMEGA has all the necessary analytical tools and a good training base. Overall I’m satisfied. Let's see what happens next.

AMEGA is a terrible broker. I regret opening a real account with them. They offer decent conditions for practice on a demo account, but when you switch to a real trading account, you see a huge difference. It seems that AMEGA's demo account is designed to deceive clients who believed in the company.

AMEGA advertises itself as a transparent and honest broker. I can't confirm this after three months of trading. Very large spread widening occurs out of nowhere. You can’t transfer trades overnight; the spread widening will definitely trigger the stop loss. Overall, AMEGA is not a decent company.

I immediately dismissed the idea of collaborating with Amega, and I do not recommend anyone to trade here. In the user agreement, there is a clause that the broker can freeze the account without any explanations. Also, if there are any suspicious actions on the account, it can be blocked. Understand, no specific facts, just general words. It turns out that Amega can block any trader.

AMEGA is not a trading platform. I was assured that everything was transparent here and that the software was good. But what I immediately encountered was a glitchy platform. You can only trade through the web, and the connection is often lost there. And the transparency. After five trades, non-market quotes began to appear every other time. What is this, incorrect quotes or a software failure again?

Amega also experiences constant price gaps on the charts of currency pairs. This leads to significant losses. And because of these gaps, it is very difficult to plan trading.

At AMEGA, they can spike trades! And the spikes can go in different directions. Once, a trade closed down, hitting the stop loss with a spike. I wanted to place an upward order, but luckily stopped in time. And not in vain—there was a spike upwards in the AMEGA terminal, a spike right in the flat for 30 points. Be careful!

AMEGA is one of the least reliable and unprofessional brokers on the market. My experience with them allows me to say that they do not meet the quality standards expected from a reliable broker. Their trading platform is unstable and fails frequently. In addition, orders on AMEGA are opened with a delay due to problems with the platform, which leads to large losses. I do not recommend working with them!
