TU Overall Score
The purpose of creating the TU Overall Score is to make the search for secure and reliable brokerage companies easier for the visitors of our website. We believe that it is a very important mission as, unfortunately, not every company in the financial industry is worthy of trust.

According to our idea, the TU Overall Score indicator should answer the biggest question of all: “Can I trust this broker with my money?”. The scores range within 0.01 – 9.99 (the higher the indicator the more trust the broker has). More details

Summary of CAPEX Trading Company

CAPEX is a moderate-risk broker with the TU Overall Score of 5.56 out of 10. Having reviewed trading opportunities offered by the company and reviews posted by CAPEX clients on our website, Traders Union expert Anton Kharitonov recommends users to thoroughly analyze pros and cons before opening an account with this broker as not all clients are satisfied with the company, according to reviews. CAPEX ranks 81 among 406 companies featured in the TU Ranking, which is based on the evaluation of 100+ criteria and a test on how to open an account.

CAPEX is mostly a broker for professional traders prepared to work with the company long-term.

CAPEX.com was launched in 2016 with the core mission to transform online trading procedures. CAPEX.com implements cutting-edge technology offering traders modern ways to invest in the financial markets. 👍 Advantages of trading with CAPEX:

  • Diversification of trading assets. The broker offers access to currencies, commodity and stock market assets (including ETFs, indices, bonds) and cryptocurrencies. There are also thematic investment portfolios.
  • Big educational base: CAPEX Academy, market reviews, podcasts, articles, etc.
  • License issued by CySEC (Cyprus, 292/16). It is a reputable regulatory authority that operates in compliance with the European law.

👎 Disadvantages of CAPEX:

  • High minimum deposit: USD 100 on Standard account, from USD 1,000 and more on other account types. Trading conditions seem to be more of a marketing nature than to provide specific information.

Evaluation of the most influential parameters of CAPEX

User Satisfaction Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) is a unique metric of Traders Union based on the analysis of user reviews posted on pages of each broker profile by the visitors of our website from all around the world. We have been collecting these broker reviews for over 13 years, and therefore, we know and understand the level of customer satisfaction with a specific brokerage company better than anyone else.

5.26

/10

Regulation and safety The score for this parameter is based on the licenses a company holds. The higher the level of the license, the higher the score. Obtaining licenses in other jurisdictions also improves a broker’s score. We divide all licenses into three levels:

Level 1 jurisdictions (high level of trust): CFTC – USA, FINMA – Switzerland, FCA — UK, ASIC – Australia, CBI – Ireland, JFSA — Japan, MAS – Singapore, FMA — New Zealand, IIROC – Canada, SFC – Hong Kong.

Level 2 jurisdictions (medium level of trust): CySEC – Cyprus, FSCA – South Africa, CBRC – China, SEBI – India, ISA – Israel, SECT – Thailand, DFSA – United Arab Emirates

Level 3 jurisdictions (low level of trust): FSC – Belize, FSC – British Virgin Islands, FSC – Mauritius, VFSC – Vanuatu, SCB – The Bahamas, BMA – Bermuda, CIMA – Cayman Islands

7.58

/10

Commissions and fees This parameter comprises a comprehensive analysis of all commissions and fees charged by a brokerage company, including trading and deposit/withdrawal fees. Also specific fees, for example the inactivity fee, are taken into account in the final score for the fees. Users can find detailed fees charged by a company in the broker’s profile.

6.86

/10

Trading instruments For this parameter, we evaluate the number of trading assets a broker offers access to in each group of financial instruments. We analyze the quotes a broker offers on Forex pairs, metals, indices, commodities, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. This parameter also includes evaluation of broker’s investment programs, for example access to copy trading, which we regard as an additional type of a trading instrument.

8.40

/10

Brand popularity Traders Union experts are confident that brand awareness mostly fully reflects the real state of affairs in a company – the more popular the broker, the more people trust it. The score for this indicator is based on the data analysis of such services as Ahrefs and SemRush, which show how often a company’s brand is searched on Google. In addition, indicators of the SimilarWeb service, which show the approximate number of visitors of the broker’s website, are also taken into consideration. We also review disclosed official reports of brokers, which allow for evaluating their client base.

4.45

/10

Customer support The score of this parameter is based on the number of available communication channels of a company’s support service. The quicker and easier it is to contact the broker’s support, the higher the score. We check every available support channel, test the speed of processing of requests and completeness of provided information through several interactions.

5.47

/10

Education This parameter provides an evaluation of a company’s capacity to work with beginners. Only quality training and provision of full and unbiased information can help novice traders and investors minimize the risks of losing money, even when working with top-ranked companies. Brokers with useful educational and informational tools, including webinars, tutorials, podcasts and articles, receive higher scores.

Trade with this broker, if:

  • Your focus is on staying updated with news, analysis, and using special tools. The broker's website provides multiple news feeds, a trader's glossary, an economic calendar, and, notably, access to Trading Central with numerous integrated functions.
  • You are in need of a genuinely dependable platform. This CFD broker has been operating in the market since 2016 and currently holds licenses from four international regulatory authorities: CySEC, ADGM, FSA, and FSCA.

Do not trade with this broker, if:

  • You are in search of an effortless start and complete transparency. Many aspects of the partnership remain undisclosed until later, including the fee policy. The most favorable terms are found on the Signature account, which necessitates meeting specific requirements for registration.

The broker Capex has several regulators, including European ones. I'm currently trading in the broker's branch supervised by CySEC. The conditions, of course, comply with European legislation. These are quite stringent conditions. But there is a guarantee of the trader's funds' safety. Therefore, the broker strives to fulfill its obligations to clients fairly. Over three years, I haven't noticed any manipulation in the trading terminal by the Capex broker.

CAPEX are probably scammers. There are a lot of reviews that they select clients for their money. The most popular method is blocking accounts for an indefinite period. Most often this happens after CAPEX clients submit withdrawal requests. Do not open trading accounts here.

Ignoring and refusal to withdraw funds from Capex speak for themselves! Incorrect recommendations and dishonest treatment have led to losses. The company does not respond to complaints, which may result in the closure of the account. A $1500 penalty for unused signals and a manager who ignores me – that's all I got from this Capex company. Run away from this broker while you still can!

What I didn’t like about CAPEX is that the website lists different conditions from the ones you get when you register. It turns out that they are misleading traders. It’s not good.

CAPEX forcibly takes its client money! I requested a withdrawal of $6,000 and after 2 weeks they sent a notice that they had some problems. They promised to transfer it within a week, but a month has already passed! I need my money, but it seems no one is going to give it back to me.

I also can't withdraw my money from my CAPEX account! I've submitted a third withdrawal request, and for the third time, the company has canceled my request. What excuse have they come up with this time to avoid releasing my funds?

Capex is a good broker for those who want to trade Forex with high leverage and have confidence in the reliability of the company. However, it's important to remember that you are dealing with a market maker with a high level of spread. For some assets, the spread in Capex can be higher than average. Nevertheless, the company offers a very fast platform, and orders are executed instantly.
