Co-founder Andrey Vedikhin to move to Chairman of Alpari (UK) and focus on strategic development of the Alpari companies; Chief Commercial Officer, Daniel Skowronski, to take on Chief Executive Officer role for Alpari (UK) in autumn 2012

London, UK – 28 June 2012: Alpari (UK) Limited ("Alpari (UK)"), one of the leading global providers of online foreign exchange ("Forex", "FX"), precious metals and CFD trading services, has announced changes to its Board of Directors – subject to regulatory approvals. Andrey Vedikhin, the co-founder of the Alpari companies worldwide, will move from his role as CEO of Alpari (UK) to Chairman of Alpari (UK). Daniel Skowronski, currently Chief Commercial Officer at Alpari (UK), will assume the role of CEO of Alpari (UK) later in the year.
Going forward Vedikhin will focus on providing advisory support on strategy development for the Alpari companies worldwide. He says, “Our ambition for Alpari (UK) is to continue to drive the current growth trajectory and position the business for an IPO in the next three years. The senior management changes that we have proposed are fundamental to ensure the business realises these goals.”

By autumn 2012 Skowronski will take on full responsibility for the commercial and operational delivery of Alpari (UK) and its subsidiaries in Germany, Japan and India as well as the company’s Representative Office in China. He comments, “I will continue to build on the great business platform that Andrey has put in place as Chief Executive Officer of Alpari (UK). We have a strong strategic growth agenda planned for the next three years which will be underpinned by our continual focus on providing our clients with innovative products, tools and services to match their evolving trading requirements.”
    New Board members

Alpari (UK) has appointed two new Directors to its Board:
Mushegh Tovmasyan, currently Global Head of Sales at Alpari (UK), will be appointed to the Board as Chief Business Development Officer. Tovmasyan, who has over eight years experience in the Forex trading sector, will lead all global sales, subsidiary and branch offices, and new business development.
David Hodge will join the Board as Chief Marketing Officer. Hodge, formerly the Group Marketing Director at IG Group, joined Alpari in October 2011. He will take accountability for all the global marketing teams, overseeing strategy development, brand, product initiatives and communications.
David Stuart’s role as Chief Operating Officer at Alpari (UK) remains unchanged. The final Board position for Alpari (UK) will be the appointment, in due course, of a Chief Financial Officer.
