Blink Charging accelerates campus fleet electrification amid push for sustainability strategies
Colleges and universities are ramping up efforts to electrify campus fleets as part of broader sustainability initiatives, according to Blink Charging.
The company says that a well-planned charging infrastructure supports transportation services, public safety teams, and facility operations, making it a critical component in progressing toward green campus goals. As educational institutions expand these initiatives, demand for reliable EV charging solutions is projected to rise.
Blink Charging has recently called on multifamily property owners to treat EV charging as a long-term asset as adoption increases, according to its advisory for the Shasta 80 solution. The company also unveiled up to $22 million in funding for California school bus charging infrastructure through the RECESS program, as detailed in a previous announcement. These actions illustrate Blink's continued focus on expanding charging infrastructure across diverse segments.
