Hunter Horsley: Crypto markets seen as restoring underdog energy
Hunter Horsley, CEO / Co-founder at Bitwise Asset Management, reflects on the changing role of technology and crypto in markets.
He notes that while technology companies once embodied a sense of being the underdog, they now feel more like part of the establishment. Horsley adds that the crypto sector, especially during bear markets, brings back the underdog spirit and a sense of building against larger forces.
Earlier this year, Horsley said the SpaceX IPO valuation could rival the crypto market excluding stablecoins in a comparison of market sizes. He also announced the launch of the Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF, which offers investors platform ownership through the BHYP ticker at Bitwise Asset Management. Both moves reflect ongoing activity by Bitwise in connecting traditional and digital assets.
