​Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange and the world's leading Web3 company, announced its participation in the cross-industry technology event Web Summit Qatar. 

Web Summit Qatar will be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from February 26 to 29, 2024. The main goal of the conference is to focus the MENA region's attention on rapidly evolving global technologies. 

According to Bitget, leading industry experts, investors, and influencers will address a variety of topics, ranging from the future of the finance sector to exploring the dynamics of global energy. 

In addition, speakers from Bitget, TikTok, Meta, Roku, Shell, and HSBC will make connections with a diverse entrepreneurial and investment community across the event's 12 content topics. 

Gracy Chen, Managing Director of the Bitget exchange, will join Web Summit Qatar as a guest speaker and lead two panels. 

She will be joined by representatives from Dfinity, Animoca Brands, Fortune, and Delta Blockchain Fund to discuss the impact of Bitcoin's future halving on investment strategies, the broader cryptocurrency market, and Bitget's positioning to capitalize on this key event in the cryptocurrency calendar. Gracy Chen will also discuss the role of blockchain in empowering women, both in the MENA region and globally. 

In addition, Gracy Chen will join a discussion on the current state of Bitcoin ETFs, their role in the widespread crypto expansion, and the ripple effect expected by industry experts. 

The Web Summit Qatar conference provides a unique opportunity for professionals from big tech, politics, finance, media, and non-profits to come together and discuss how technological advancements will impact the Middle East and North Africa. 

The total number of attendees is expected to exceed 7,500. Web Summit Qatar has partnered with global leaders in enterprise innovation, such as Microsoft, Meta, Huawei, Snapchat, and Deloitte, and is supported by the public sector, including government foundations and agencies from Qatar, Turkey, Bahrain, Portugal, Tunisia, and Oman.
