The Shiba Inu development team addressed users with a warning about the activation of scammers who have come up with a new way to defraud investors.

Following the launch of SHEboshi, a DN404 token, fraudsters have increased their activity and organized a scheme to defraud the Shiba Inu community. Criminals are using malicious tactics to force users to click on phishing links that have nothing to do with official channels.

Shiba Inu Marketing Manager Lucie published a warning to SHIB owners in a post on X: "Beware of scammers posting airdrops and phishing links!"

Shiba Inu owners were warned about a fake token distribution campaign and given security tips. Scammers have launched a fake SHEboshi giveaway to trick users who did not purchase SHEboshi at the minting stage.

After clicking on the phishing link and connecting the wallet to the fake raffle platform, the scammers had full control over the user's funds.

A representative of the developers said that the team does not currently conduct airdrops (free token giveaways) and does not do so on a regular basis. Any links offering Shiba Inu tokens are dangerous, as they redirect to phishing sites that steal users' assets.

Lucie warned investors that any claims of airdrops in the Shiba Inu ecosystem are a clever trap to steal their money.

The marketing manager gave important tips on user safety. The main rule is to only visit the official community channels on Telegram and Discord and double-check everything for security. It's also better to check if there is a publication on the official channel on X and if there is a link from the Shiba Inu team.

In her post, Lucie published a link to SHEboshi's official X social media account, which is designed to keep users informed of all news.

Prior to this detailed post about the nature of the scam, the community had previously published warnings about fake newsletters in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. As SHIB's popularity has grown, scammers have become more aggressive, and users have been asked to be vigilant and follow basic safety rules.

According to Lucie, before investing in any cryptocurrency project, it is important to conduct due diligence on all information, especially when clients are asked to enter their wallet details on the platform.

The Shiba Inu team is committed to protecting all community members from scammers and constantly publishes tips and warnings to expose fraudulent schemes.

The official Shibarmy Scam Alerts account on X reported a scam project associated with the nickname @thesheboshis. It claims to be SHEboshi and lists its goals as promoting empowerment and equality for all. Shibarmy Scam Alerts warned community members that the project was posting phishing links targeting SHIB owners.
