Equiti Group's FXPesa opens education center in Uganda

International broker Equiti Group has announced that its unit, FXPesa, has opened an education center in Uganda.

The FXPesa Academy will primarily focus on improving the financial literacy of the local population. The new FXPesa Academy is located on the 7th Floor of Lumumba Avenue's Rumee Building in Kampala. The center will focus on providing seminars on money management education as well as opportunities to gain practical skills for accessing and trading in global markets.

In recent months, FXPesa has provided financial education to more than 500,000 people in East Africa, according to the FNG website.

FXPesa Academy is part of the global Equiti Group in Europe, the UK, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, which is regulated and licensed by seven market regulators.

"FXPesa's education programmes, we want to equip Ugandans to make informed financial and economic decisions that improve their income levels and drive economic growth. We plan to use our new FXPesa Academy in Kampala as an entry point into Uganda," said Moonika Jurgenfeldt, Commercial Director for Equiti Group in Africa.

Broker Equiti is part of the Equiti Group Ltd. Holding, which was established in 2008, and offers favorable trading conditions for both beginners and experienced traders, as well as investors. The company also allows its clients to use various strategies, including high-frequency and algorithmic trading, with the help of advisors.
