The Oanda brokerage company has announced changes to its retail trading operations in Europe. OANDA is planning to exit Malta and transfer its business to OANDA TMS Brokers S.A. registered in Warsaw, Poland to consolidate its operations in the European market under one regulated entity. OANDA TMS is fully owned by the OANDA Group, supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and participates in the Investor Compensation Scheme operated by the National Depository for Securities S.A. (KDPW). Pursuant to the plan of closing OANDA operations under the Maltese license, as of 17 March 2023 OANDA Europe Markets Ltd (OEML) will cease to provide services currently provided on the basis of OANDA Europe Markets Limited Retail and Professional Clients Terms of Business (ToB). Under this reorganization, active traders in Europe will be able to gain access to the broader TMS product offering, which includes a wider range of asset classes and a cutting-edge platform integrated with MT5. OANDA is registered in the U.S. and offers its clients a wide range of financial services in the majority of countries in the world. The company was established in 1996, and is currently regulated in four jurisdictions.
