Ally announces management team changes

Russell Hutchinson will take over as chief financial officer at Ally Financial, Ally Bank's parent business.

Hutchinson will start on July 3, 2023, and will report directly to CEO Jeffrey Brown.

According to the FNG website, Russell Hutchinson joined Ally from Goldman Sachs Group, where he was chief operating officer for global mergers and acquisitions, after holding the post of chief strategy officer. Before this, he worked as a client adviser in Goldman's Investment Banking Division's specialty financial sector.

Hutchinson has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen's University in Canada and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
