Paolo Ardoino, the Chief Technology Officer of Bitfinex, refutes data breach claims of hacking group FSOCIETY which allegedly compromised 22,500 emails and passwords.
In a lengthy statement posted on X, Ardoino questioned the authenticity of the hackers’ information since they did not ask for any kind of ransom for the alleged breach.
In addition, the CTO revealed that they are performing deep analysis of the platform’s systems and no breach has been found so far.
