CrescoFX Review 2025

CrescoFX Review 2025

Updated:
Updated: January 06, 2025

Summary of CrescoFX Trading Company

CrescoFX started its activities in 2011. It was regulated by FCA (the Financial Conduct Authority) and its office is located in London. CrescoFX’s clients didn’t have any complaints at the start, but the quality of its services and transparency of its conditions worsened significantly over time. The exact reasons why FCA revoked its license in 2017 are unknown, but according to trader reviews, the broker provided quotes that didn’t correspond to the market. Together with very high spreads, that made trading unprofitable.
Also, clients complained about the work of technical support and the withdrawal of funds. Many investors lost their money, and the company always had new reasons not to pay them. This especially was the usual case before the website closed. First, clients were convinced to deposit money by promising quick income, and then they were allowed to withdraw a small part of it. Later, the broker simply took its clients’ money, rejecting all withdrawals.

I worked with CrescoFX for over a year, though I wasn’t quite satisfied with high spreads. I liked the pleasant environment and very competent technical support that responded instantly and helped to solve relevant issues. Everything worsened over time and the broker became non-transparent and dishonest. When I opened an order, the price decreased slightly, and the trade closed for unknown reasons, although the margin was more than enough and it was far from reaching stop loss. I didn’t see any point in trading with such interference, so I found another company.

I traded on Forex for more than 5 years and never thought I could become a victim of scammers. Maybe it was not my fault, but an unfortunate coincidence. At the time of my registration, the broker was licensed by FCA, but the regulator revoked the license in a couple of months. That’s when my problems started. Obviously, the company knew it would soon be out of business, and it did everything to rob its clients. It stopped withdrawing money, though there hadn’t been problems before. If I calculate everything, I withdrew more than I deposited, so it’s not that bad. I feel sorry for wasted time and $6,300 that I earned but never received.

I can’t say anything good about CrescoFX. I registered and opened a demo account to check what the broker could offer. Its managers started calling me every day, persuading me to switch to a live account. They promised to help me trade with profit only. They said that they were interested in my successful trading, etc. As a novice trader, I had doubts because the minimum deposit of $1,000 was significant for me. After much persuasion, I opened the Standard account and started trading. The first weeks were not very successful, and then only losses began. I decided to withdraw my funds, but they blocked my account and took my money.

I have unpleasant impressions of working with CrescoFX, but I realized that I was lucky to return at least what I invested. I worked with the company for about eight months and increased my capital by 75% trading cryptocurrencies. I requested withdrawal once to check the processing speed of a request, and everything was great. I was trading comfortably. Then I urgently needed money for a couple of weeks. I closed all my orders and submitted a withdrawal request. I received only my deposit. Technical support asked me to wait, as they split the payment into two parts, but the rest of the money hasn’t come. So I wasted a lot of time and effort to earn nothing.

I lost all the money I planned to invest in cryptocurrencies because I trusted CrescoFX. The broker seemed to be honest and decent, having a reliable license, but I didn’t check anything. When I started working with CrescoFX, the license had already been revoked. I learned about that only when they refused to withdraw my money. There was no one I could file a complaint to, as the broker didn’t have a license. So, I lost $12,000 and I won’t trust another broker for a long time.

CrescoFX is a scam that makes investors deposit more money but receive no withdrawals. That’s what happened to me. They called me, persuaded me to increase my trades, and promised comfortable conditions and minimum fees. Eventually, everything was exactly the opposite. There were constant slippages, high spreads, and interference with trading. They closed my orders, although the margin was sufficient, and increased the trading fees. Technical support referred to the rules once I complained. My account and my money were blocked for alleged violations of the rules.

CrescoFX raised my suspicions from the very beginning, because they insisted on working with me, promising me the moon. FCA regulation persuaded me. I started working with the broker and was quickly disappointed with the conditions. Spreads were just unreal! I decided to withdraw my money because I wanted to work for myself and not the company. I withdrew some money, but I still had open trades. After I closed those trades, I requested withdrawal again, but my account was blocked, as was the website.

• With a full package of documents, appeal to the following organizations: the broker’s regulator or corresponding law enforcement agencies. If you make your deposit with a bank transfer, try to initiate a chargeback request.

On rare occasions, yes, for example, if the broker was a member of a compensation fund, or upon a court’s ruling.
