SonicX launches airdrop for its 2 million TikTok followers

SonicX launches airdrop for its 2 million TikTok followers Creators of SonicX aim to attract users through airdrop

The developers of SonicX, a blockchain game on Solana, are looking to spark user interest by conducting a token airdrop.

According to the creators, they will distribute the Sonic tokens to all users who register for the game via the social media platform TikTok.

SonicX was initially designed with TikTok in mind, aiming to compete with the numerous gaming apps on Telegram. However, the results have been underwhelming. Only 2 million players have registered for SonicX on TikTok, compared to the 300 million who signed up for the much-hyped but ultimately disappointing game Hamster Kombat.

Sonic still shows promise

The developers now acknowledge missteps in their marketing campaign, primarily the lack of information about the token launch, and are attempting to revive interest through the airdrop, which could extend to broader audiences.

This comes as the price of the SONIC token has dropped 93% since its launch earlier this year, currently trading at $0.055.

Injective and Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) blockchain Sonic are launching the Smart Agent Hub, a crosschain artificial intelligence platform. This hub will enable developers to integrate Solana-based AI agents into Injective’s decentralized ecosystem and monetize these agents through tokenization and fractionalized ownership.
