Tickmill launches IB Grand Prix competition for introducing brokers
The brokerage firm Tickmill has announced the launch of an exclusive competition—the IB Grand Prix, aimed at its Introducing Brokers (IBs). Running from October 2024 to July 2025, the competition is designed to reward IBs for their role in expanding Tickmill’s client network. A cash prize pool of $125,000 will be equally divided among five regional circuits.
The IB Grand Prix offers both existing and new Tickmill IBs a unique opportunity to increase their earnings by continuing their regular referral activities. Points are awarded based on the trading volume of referred clients, and IBs are ranked on leaderboards within their respective regional circuits. The top 20 IBs in each circuit will receive cash prizes, with first-place winners in each circuit earning $8,000.
“The IB Grand Prix reflects Tickmill’s ongoing commitment to supporting and recognizing our Introducing Brokers. This year, we’ve refreshed our IB competition by adding more winners and increasing the prize pool,” said Nicholas Baumer, Tickmill’s Chief Commercial Officer.
IBs will be divided into five regional circuits based on their country of registration, with each circuit offering a prize pool of $25,000. A total of 100 winners will be selected across all regions. Prizes vary by placement, with awards ranging from $300 for those ranked 11th to 20th, up to $8,000 for first-place finishers in each circuit.
To participate in the competition, IBs simply need to continue their regular client referral activities. Points accumulate based on the trading volume of referred clients during the competition period, with each 0.01 lot traded contributing to the IB’s overall score. Real-time leaderboards for each circuit will update hourly, allowing IBs to monitor their standings and adjust their efforts as necessary.
The competition is open to both new and existing Tickmill IBs, who will be automatically enrolled in the contest.
Tickmill’s IB Grand Prix represents a new approach to recognizing the efforts of Introducing Brokers, offering a substantial cash prize pool and a straightforward structure. With regular updates and a transparent leaderboard, IBs can actively track their progress and compete for prizes while supporting the growth of Tickmill’s client network.
