Brokerage company XTB announced a partnership with the Polish Self-Regulated Association of Individual Investors (SII) aimed at improving the standards of the local financial market, including the establishment of a "Spokesperson for Individual Investors Rights".
Also key to the partnership between XTB and SII is supporting the influx of retail investors in Poland to the stock market by creating a comfortable environment for them and new operating standards.
"XTB continuously invests in free public education for investors and making the market more accessible, and cooperation with the Association of Individual Investors will help support and protect their rights," commented Paweł Szejko, member of the XTB Board, on the decision to partner.
The Individual Investors' Rights initiative aims to protect the rights and responsibilities of individual investors while seeking to improve standards in the industry, according to Broker-Forex.fr.
In addition, SII and XTB intend to implement joint initiatives to serve retail investors, which include supporting the development of financial education, promoting issues related to the functioning of the capital market in the public field, and working to ensure universal access to reliable capital market information.
"We believe that the acquisition of such a strong strategic partner opens up new opportunities for the Polish individual investor community," said Jarosław Dominiak, President of the Board of the Association of Individual Investors.
As the investment industry is developing and more and more people are looking for a way to protect their assets from inflation, broker XTB has started developing a new investment savings product that will be launched by the end of the year.
