Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that Lee Travers will step down as CEO of its Australian division.
Ben Rose, the general manager of Binance's New Zealand division, will take his seat.
Lee Travers, according to FNG, joined the Binance team in 2021 after leaving DigitalX Limited after 7 years. Travers rose through the ranks at DigitalX, from prop trader to CEO.
Binance is one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges in terms of daily turnover. The exchange gives users access to over 400 cryptocurrencies, with more than 25% of them being stablecoins used for conversion transactions.
