Last week, London Capital Group (LCG), an international brokerage firm, experienced an IT outage that left the broker's trading platform inoperable for several days.

"LCG has experienced a major IT outage affecting our trading platforms as well as our back and middle office systems," LCG said in a statement on its official website.

The outage resulted in the broker's clients being unable to access their online accounts and LCG being unable to process deposits and withdrawals.

The outage, which lasted from Tuesday through Friday, affected the company's users in London and the Bahamas.

However, the broker appears to be continuing to deal with the aftermath of the issue, as evidenced by its official website page, which loads in text-only format, and a new web address from which users can log in to their accounts.

In addition, the broker has issued an apology to its clients for its inability to keep them informed during the outage.

"We apologize sincerely, both for the inconvenience caused by the outage and our inability to relay information to you," LCG said in a note.

The problems at LCG occurred shortly after the broker decided to switch to a business-only model.
