Interactive Brokers has announced further enhancements to the functionality of its TWS trading platform.

The latest update provides access to short-term securities lending data for U.S. equities used by banks, broker-dealers, and institutional investors.

The Orbisa Securities Lending Analytics Dashboard in the Fundamentals Explorer provides data on increases or decreases in borrowing demand to help determine the market outlook, FNG said.

The Orbisa dashboard allows you to track the following metrics:

- The total number of securities on loan divided by the total inventory of the security (%).

- The number of lenders with outstanding loans in their names (lender depth).

- Weighted average duration of all open loans in a security based on trade date.

- The number of lenders with outstanding loans in their names (borrow depth).

- The number of shares on loan in a security lent on the transaction date divided by the 30-day trading average in the cash market.

- Total quantity of the security on loan.

- The total value of the security on loan ($).

- The number of shares on loan divided by the total number of shares in the public float (%).

In addition, users will be able to evaluate the short-selling statistics of the two companies using the "Compare" chart.

Orbisa is available in the Desktop TWS, Client Portal, and IBKR Mobile, and will soon be available in IBKR Desktop.

We previously reported that Interactive Brokers has updated the functionality of the Client Portal.
