Webull Corporation, owner of the Webull trading platform, has announced the launch of retail brokerage services in the United Kingdom.

UK residents will now be able to trade US-listed stocks with low commissions through the brokerage platform via Webull UK, according to GlobeNewswire.

They will also have access to news, industry data, and extensive educational materials needed to make informed investment decisions.

"The UK has great potential, and we look forward to rapidly expanding our product offering to meet the needs of our UK clients. Webull's trading platform has become very popular in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Singapore, and we are confident that the powerful trading tools and simple mobile format will prove equally attractive in the UK," said Anthony Denyer, CEO of Webull in the U.S.

After receiving authorization from the FCA in October last year, Webull UK set about recruiting a professional team with expertise in the UK. Although the brokerage's offering will initially be limited to U.S.-registered securities, Webull UK expects to expand its product offering to retail investors in the near future.

"The British public is now actively seeking low-cost investment opportunities domestically and in markets outside the UK. Webull’s strength is in our global network and innovative mindset; we look at the right solution for our clients and seek to build on the existing, sustainable foundations to give our customers the product they want," said Nick Saunders, CEO of Webull UK.
