Swissquote, a brokerage firm, announced its results for the financial year 2022.

In comparison to the previous financial year, the company's operating income fell 13.5% to 414.6 million Swiss francs, while net revenue fell 13.6% to 408.0 million Swiss francs.

According to a Swissquote report, pre-tax profit decreased by 16.5% to CHF 186.4 million, while net income decreased by 18.6% to CHF 157.4 million compared to the fiscal year 2021.

During the reporting period, the number of client accounts increased by 51,099 to 538,946, with an average deposit of around CHF 100,000 per client.

Swissquote anticipates a 21% increase in net income to CHF 495 million in financial year 2023, as well as a 23% increase in pre-tax profit to CHF 230 million.
