EC Markets, an international Forex and CFD broker, made a notable impact at iFX Expo LATAM 2025, which brought together over 3,500 professionals from fintech, brokerage, payments, and investment sectors.
The event was held on April 9–10 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City and served as an important platform for networking and knowledge exchange within the Latin American trading community, according to a statement on the company’s website.
One of the key highlights was EC Markets’ sponsorship of the Speaker Hall, which positioned the company at the center of the event’s educational and strategic programming.
The firm supported a comprehensive agenda that included keynote speeches, workshops, and panel discussions on topics such as liquidity infrastructure, regulatory standards, and cross-border trading.

During a packed session titled “Will All Online Trading Roads Lead to LATAM?”, Matthew Smith, Group Chairman and CEO of EC Markets, presented three core principles for market growth:

His speech resonated with the audience, which included more than 100 experts attending the forum.
