eToro, the trading and investing platform, has announced a new partnership with Generali, one of the leading life insurance providers in France, to introduce life insurance and retirement savings products for French users.

This collaboration coincides with the official launch of eToro's French subsidiary, eToro Patrimoine, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the European financial services market.

The new offerings include a Plan d'Épargne Retraite (PER) and a life insurance contract, both tailored to meet diverse financial goals and risk profiles of retail investors. The products offer both managed portfolios and self-directed investment options, combining eToro’s intuitive digital platform with Generali’s well-established insurance expertise.

Executive comments and investor opportunities

Julien Nebenzahl, President of eToro Patrimoine, emphasized the strategic importance of the launch:

"Introducing savings solutions for eToro users in France and opening a local subsidiary underscore our commitment to strengthening our footprint in a key market for our business. With these new products, we aim to empower retail investors to build a secure savings portfolio and grow their wealth over the long term."

Corentin Favennec, Director of Partnerships at Generali Patrimoine, added:

"We are pleased to support eToro, a globally recognized investment platform, in the launch of its French subsidiary and savings offerings. Our 100% digital PER and life insurance products, which complement each other, are an ideal fit for eToro’s value proposition to meet the wealth management needs of the French public."

The new savings solutions allow investors to choose between managed portfolios based on their risk appetite or build custom allocations. eToro users can choose from over 500 investment options, including mutual funds, ETFs, listed stocks, and dated bond funds, enabling them to develop personalized wealth management strategies.

Local enhancements and strategic focus

This expansion follows a series of recent local upgrades aimed at French investors. These include enabling trading in euros through eToro Money accounts, broader access to Euronext Paris-listed stocks, and French IBANs to simplify domestic banking services.

The partnership with Generali and product localization reflect eToro’s long-term commitment to becoming a comprehensive financial partner in the French wealth management sector.

It is worth noting that eToro previously announced its IPO pricing on Nasdaq at $52 per share.
