Danish brokerage Saxo Bank has announced an update to its OpenAPI interface.
The latest version of the update significantly enhances several service groups, including Corporate Actions and Portfolio.
According to FNG, the new version of OpenAPI has implemented the following:
- In Corporate Actions, a "MarketDeadline" field has been added to the Options section.
- In the Client Services group, the "Correction Type" field has been added.
- The field "DividentReinvestmentConfig" was added to the Portfolio group.
- A new field, "CanParticipateInMultiLegOrder", has been added to the Reference Data section.
SaxoOpenAPI provides access to:
- Resources and features required to build a high performance multi-asset trading platform.
- Information on all trading instruments.
- Investment portfolio status data.
- Support for streaming quotes, requesting quotes, placing orders, confirming trades, etc.
Previously, Saxo Bank stopped supporting the Trade on Quotes flow in OpenAPI. The broker emphasized that this decision only affected the FxOptions instrument, as trading in other asset types is done through Saxo Bank's order-based trading flow.
