Broker CMC Markets has announced that Albert Soleiman has been appointed as the company's new Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2023.

Soleiman will replace Euan Marshall, who has left CMC Markets' Board of Directors, but will remain with the company for the next few months to assist with the transition of the position.

According to ShareCast's coverage, Albert Soleiman joined CMC Markets in 2005. Three years later, he became the company's Head of Tad. In 2019, he left CMC Markets to join Bitfury UK Limited as its Global Tax Director, but returned to the company a year later to lead its investment division.

"Albert has a deep knowledge of the Group, which will help us deliver on our diversification strategy. We have worked closely with Albert as he has developed the CMC Invest business, and I look forward to working with him as a Board member," said James Richards, Chairman of CMC Markets.

"I am delighted to be taking on the role of CFO of CMC and look forward to working with the Board to deliver the Group's strategy. I look forward to playing my part in delivering the strategic vision and driving business performance," commented Albert Soleiman on his appointment.
