LiteFinance urges clients to update MetaTrader platforms by July 1 LiteFinance supports MetaQuotes upgrade

LiteFinance, a well-known broker in the forex and cryptocurrency markets, has issued a notice to its clients following an important announcement by MetaQuotes, the developer of the popular MetaTrader trading platforms.

MetaQuotes confirmed that, starting July 1, 2025, support for outdated versions of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 will officially end, requiring both brokers and traders to prepare for the change.

According to the broker’s official statement, only the following minimum builds will be supported from that date onward:

MetaTrader 4 – Build 1440, released on February 21, 2025

MetaTrader 5 – Build 4755, released on December 13, 2024

Users running versions older than these may face connectivity issues, limited functionality, or a complete disruption of platform services.

Importance of updating and company recommendations

In response, LiteFinance strongly urges all clients to promptly check and update their trading platforms to avoid any service interruptions.

“This will help you avoid technical issues and ensure full access to all platform features,” the company stated in its client communication.

These updates are part of MetaQuotes’ broader strategy to optimize its software and improve security, compatibility, and performance for users worldwide. Older builds will no longer receive bug fixes or technical support, increasing their vulnerability to malfunctions and risks.

LiteFinance has already made the latest versions of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 available in the “Trading Platforms” section of its official website. The broker also reminded clients that staying up to date guarantees access to the latest tools, indicators, and enhancements — key to maintaining a competitive edge in volatile market conditions.

As a reminder, LiteFinance had previously discontinued the use of Skype as a customer support channel.
