ThinkMarkets extends weekend cryptocurrency trading hours

ThinkMarkets extends weekend cryptocurrency trading hours ThinkMarkets ups trading flexibility

Global multi-asset broker ThinkMarkets has announced a significant improvement to its cryptocurrency trading schedule by reducing system maintenance downtime on weekends. In an effort to enhance client experience and minimize trading interruptions, the platform has shortened its standard Saturday maintenance window from four hours to two.

According to the new schedule, Saturday maintenance will now take place from 12:00 to 14:00 GMT+3 instead of the previous 12:00 to 16:00. Sunday maintenance remains unchanged, lasting just 15 minutes—from 12:00 to 12:15 GMT+3. This adjustment provides traders with greater access to cryptocurrency markets, particularly during key weekend periods when volatility and trading opportunities are most frequent.

Focus on innovation and client convenience

This step reflects ThinkMarkets’ commitment to continuous innovation and client-oriented service in the rapidly evolving digital asset space. By reducing downtime, the broker allows users to react faster to price movements and manage positions more efficiently during weekends, when crypto markets are typically most active.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to optimize the trading experience for our clients, and this update is another step in that direction—helping you avoid disruptions and seize more market opportunities,” the company stated.

The platform also emphasized its dedication to improving reliability and accessibility across all supported cryptocurrencies. ThinkMarkets currently offers a broad selection of digital assets and trading tools through its advanced platforms, including ThinkTrader and MetaTrader.

Leadership strategy and trader support

This announcement is part of the broker’s broader strategy to maintain its leadership in the competitive online trading industry, where speed, convenience, and uninterrupted access are crucial to client satisfaction and retention.

Traders are encouraged to follow ThinkMarkets’ official social media accounts for the latest news and updates on platform developments and trading conditions.

By halving Saturday downtime, ThinkMarkets reaffirms its commitment to putting clients first, providing crypto traders with near-continuous market access and fewer service interruptions.

Notably, ThinkMarkets recently expanded its index offerings with the launch of the ZAR40 index, now available on the ThinkTrader and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms.
