FBS’s 2024 CSR efforts uplifted over 14,000 lives globally
FBS, a leading global forex broker, has unveiled its 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) achievements, showcasing a year of impactful initiatives aimed at fostering global betterment.
By implementing 16 projects across seven countries, the company directly impacted the lives of over 14,000 people, focusing on education, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid, as noted on the broker's website. Donations exceeded $50,000, enabling FBS to collaborate with seven partners and leave a lasting impact on communities worldwide.
Education as a cornerstone
Education took center stage in FBS’s 2024 initiatives. In South Africa, the company partnered with Education Africa to provide essential educational tools to students at Masibambane College and restore the school’s historic clock. In Indonesia, FBS worked with the Peduli Anak Foundation to supply desks and chairs, improving classroom conditions for children from low-income families. In Malaysia, FBS collaborated with the SUKA Society to equip six preschools with resources, enhancing early learning opportunities for Orang Asli children.
Extending support through humanitarian aid
Beyond education, FBS focused on aiding vulnerable populations. In Thailand, a partnership with Save the Children provided a safe learning environment for 8,500 young refugees, addressing their educational and emotional needs. When severe flooding struck Northern Thailand, FBS joined forces with local groups to distribute food, water, and medicine to 430 families in crisis.
Seasonal campaigns bring joy
Seasonal campaigns were another highlight of FBS’s 2024 CSR initiatives. During Ramadan, FBS partnered with the SUKA Society and the Dignity for Children Foundation in Malaysia to provide grocery packages and festive meals to over 900 families. The Christmas "Gift-A-Meal" campaign brought joy to 350 families with a festive menu of roast chicken, buttered rice, and iced lemon tea, ensuring dignified celebrations.
Growing commitment
Expanding its CSR efforts annually, FBS continues to affirm its mission to empower communities through tangible actions. To commemorate 2024, FBS released a video capturing heartfelt moments and real stories from its global initiatives, highlighting its unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
FBS’s success story demonstrates how purposeful action can uplift communities and inspire meaningful change. Notably, FBS achieved significant recognition at the recent BRM (Business Review Magazine) Awards ceremony, where it won in three major categories.
