The brokerage company IG Group announced an agreement with Foris DAX Markets to acquire Small Exchange.
Small Market is a Chicago-based futures exchange that debuted in 2019. The platform focuses on servicing retail clients and provides smaller, simpler products.
Based on information from Finance Magnates, IG Group previously held a 39 percent stake in Small Exchange, which was purchased by Foris DAX Markets, Crypto.com's parent company, in March 2022.
The acquisition will enable IG Group to broaden the range of products and services accessible to retail investors and traders in the United States. As a result of the deal, Small Exchange will be able to provide clients with a world-class trading system, risk monitoring, and matching mechanism.
