IG, a brokerage company, has announced that Adam Wheelwright will take over as Chief Technology Officer.
Mr Wheelwright will begin his duties on April 17 and will work in the company's London office.
According to the FNG portal, Adam Wheelwright joins IG from the National Health Service (NHS), where he was Chief Information Officer. Previously, he was Managing Director at NatWest Group, where he co-founded the digital retail bank Bó. Prior to that, he was Chief Administrative Officer at NatWest Markets and also served for UBS, Nomura and Dresdner Kleinwort.
Mr Wheelwright has nearly thirty years of financial services industry expertise and specializes in developing and implementing complex transformational technology initiatives for financial services and large organizations.
