eToro expands its range of investment tracking tools

eToro, a global trading and investment platform, has launched a set of new tools designed to provide users with deeper insights into their investment performance.
These updates aim to help investors make more informed decisions by offering a clearer understanding of portfolio composition, risk levels, and passive income potential, according to the eToro website.
Key features of the new tools
The new tools, available to all eToro users, include features aimed at supporting strategic portfolio management and diversification:
Portfolio breakdown: Users can now view detailed information on how their investments are distributed across asset types, sectors, geographical regions, and exchanges. This feature allows users to assess how diversified their portfolios are and receive actionable insights on improving diversification.
Risk insights: A new risk analysis tool provides users with information on which assets contribute to their portfolio's overall risk score. Additionally, the tool highlights uncorrelated assets that can help reduce risk and improve diversification.
Expected dividends: Investors can track dividend income generated by their stocks, including projections for the remainder of the year. This provides a clearer view of the expected passive income from current open positions.
Portfolio comparison: Users can compare their portfolio’s performance to major indices such as the S&P 500, enabling them to measure returns relative to the broader market and adjust their strategies accordingly.
"At eToro, we believe that knowledge is the ultimate power when it comes to investing. Our new advanced portfolio insights are designed to give our users a strategic edge, offering unmatched clarity on performance, risk, and diversification opportunities. Whether they are planning for long-term returns or refining their investment strategy, we equip our users with the precision and confidence needed to navigate market complexities and achieve their financial goals," said Or Peled, eToro’s VP of Product Strategy and Growth.
Local currency support and expanded offerings
This launch marks the latest in a series of updates aimed at enhancing the user experience. In October, eToro enabled local currency trading for GBP and EUR accounts through eToro Money. Additionally, the platform significantly expanded its stock offerings by partnering with Deutsche Boerse, the London Stock Exchange, and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
The new portfolio management tools reaffirm eToro’s commitment to innovation, providing users with greater transparency and control over their investments in an increasingly dynamic market.
