As part of the platform upgrade, an innovative biometric authentication feature, Onfido Selfie Motion, has been introduced, reports FNG.
This tool makes it much easier to change the primary phone number linked to the account. The Onfido Selfie Motion feature is designed to make it easier to change phone number details.
How does it work? If a user has difficulty logging in to their account after changing their phone number (because the 2FA two-factor authentication system sends a confirmation to a phone number that is no longer accessible), they can use Onfido Selfie Motion to log in through the biometric authentication process.
The order of Onfido Selfie Motion actions is as follows:
1. When the confirmation code is sent, the next screen will allow the user to change their phone number.
2. Click on "Let's start" to start the process.
3. The system will redirect to the selfie matching process, where you will need to upload an ID document containing your photo with the selfie motion.
4. Once the biometric authentication is completed as required, an email will be sent with a security code.
5. Enter the security code and change your phone number.
6. Once the process is complete, you can easily update your phone number to the new one.
It is worth noting that there is a 7-day limitation on withdrawal requests.
However, users can still submit withdrawal requests that will be manually reviewed. In addition, users can also open a support ticket for additional assistance if needed.
