Interactive Brokers will host a webinar for its clients and anyone interested in learning more about the features of its IBKR Desktop platform.
The webinar presenters will reveal the secrets of configuring and optimizing the platform for individual needs, as well as how to use order entry hotkeys and create order presets.
"During the live demo, traders will be able to learn how to use the quick order entry window, view news and research, customize charts, analyze their favorite options chains, and submit trades," IBKR said.
Interactive Brokers regularly hosts free trading webinars led by experienced instructors and analysts who work with financial firms and research providers from around the world. "Watch, listen, and ask questions live about trading, global finance, and current stock market trends," the brokerage noted.
The webinar will take place on May 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (GMT).
IBKR Desktop is Interactive Brokers' latest desktop trading platform, providing investors with a more user-friendly interface. Trade stocks, options, futures, and more in over 150 markets worldwide with this easy-to-use platform.
The order types available through Interactive Brokers' Trader Workstation are designed to help traders limit losses and/or capture profits. Market conditions and other factors may affect execution. Orders typically guarantee execution or price, but not both. In extreme market conditions, an order may either execute at a different price than expected or may not execute in the market.
It is also worth noting that the company has IBKR APIs for the development of specialized software that can be used by traders to optimize their trading.
The broker also recommended that upcoming webinar attendees familiarize themselves with the topic "Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options," as this webinar is dedicated to options trading.
