Broker ThinkMarkets opens new division in New Zealand

Brokerage firm ThinkMarkets announced the launch of a division in New Zealand, regulated by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA), to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
The launch of the division will give New Zealand residents access to all of ThinkMarkets' brokerage services. They will also be able to trade more than 4,000 financial instruments on the broker's ThinkTrader trading platform.
According to the Finance Magnates website, the new division comes a year after ThinkMarkets purchased Japan Affliate, which allowed the broker to offer Forex services in Japan.
Additionally, ThinkMarkets' decision to expand regionally followed a $30 million funding the broker received from Mars Growth in early 2022.
In February, the broker updated its ThinkTrader trading platform with a new security system that tracks and prevents fraudulent calls.
ThinkMarkets, a broker formed in 2010, provides accounts for both novice and experienced traders with narrow market spreads. It is notable for providing high-quality client support in English, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, and Portuguese.
