Scope Markets strengthens presence in South Africa
Brokerage firm Scope Markets has announced the appointment of Linton White as General Manager for South Africa.
The brokerage continues to strengthen its team and expand its geographic footprint following its acquisition by Rostro Group.
Prior to joining Scope Markets, Linton White held various management positions at a number of South African brokers, including Atossa Capital, Veracity Markets, QuickTrade Pty Ltd, JP Markets, and Green Box Markets, according to the FNG news site.
Investment firm Rostro Group acquired broker Scope Markets earlier this year to increase its presence in the MENA region and South Africa. Since the acquisition, broker Scope Markets has embarked on a reshuffle of staff and a renewal of its top management team.
As previously reported, in March, the broker appointed Joshua Mahoney, formerly of IG Group, as Chief Market Analyst at Scope Markets.
Scope Markets offers its clients a wide range of trading solutions and multi-platform trading capabilities. The company adheres strictly to regulatory requirements, in particular the separate accounts principle.
