eToro launches AI-generated ad campaign for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Trading and investment platform eToro has unveiled its first advertising campaign created almost entirely using artificial intelligence (AI). This ground-breaking campaign will run during the 16 days of live coverage of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on Eurosport and will be broadcast on discovery+ and Max in 45 markets in 19 languages.
The AI-powered campaign highlights the capabilities and extensive features of eToro's social investing platform. eToro allows users around the world to trade a variety of assets, share investment ideas, monitor the performance of others and learn about capital markets. The campaign aims to demonstrate the platform's ability to connect investors around the world and provide the tools they need to expand their knowledge and wealth.

eToro collaborated with Lightricks using their recently launched artificial intelligence-based video editing and storyboarding tool, LTX Studio, to create this international advertising campaign. The initial visuals, shots and motion graphics were created using LTX Studio's artificial intelligence technology, eliminating the need for live on location shooting. Later, custom audio and voiceover were added to complete the final product.

The platform previously produced ads for the NFL Superbowl LVI halftime show and sponsors teams from a variety of leading sports leagues including English Premier League, German Bundesliga, UK Premiership Rugby, Spanish Liga ACB and Rugby Australia.
This AI-generated campaign not only marks a major milestone for eToro, but also sets a precedent for the future of advertising in the digital age, demonstrating the transformative potential of AI in marketing and content creation.
