Cyprus-based broker BDSwiss continues to strengthen its Arabic-speaking team as it expands its presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

BDSwiss has appointed Hassan Ibrahim as Head of Business Development for the MENA region.

In his role, Hassan Ibrahim will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with clients and partners in the Gulf and Middle East, as well as overseeing business development in the region, according to the ZAWYA website.

Prior to joining the BDSwiss team, Hassan Ibrahim was Head of Sales for the MENA region at Pepperstone. Before that, he worked for the London division of IG Group and the British Red Cross.

"We are thrilled to have Hassan join our team. His extensive experience and proven track record in the finance industry make him the perfect candidate to lead our MENA expansion plans," said Daniel Takieddine, CEO of BDSwiss MENA.

As BDSwiss continues to refocus its European business on the more promising regions of Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, it is actively seeking new members for its team.

As previously reported, the broker has confirmed Mazen Salhab as Chief Market Strategist for the MENA region.
