Interactive Brokers and Acuity Trading have announced a partnership to expand investor capabilities

Interactive Brokers and Acuity Trading, a provider of alternative data and advanced analytical tools, have entered into a strategic partnership to integrate Acuity’s research terminal into the broker’s platform.
Through this integration, the Acuity Research Terminal becomes a part of Interactive Brokers’ Discovery Tool, available in the Trader Workstation (TWS) Mosaic. This development provides investors with access to a reliable, centralized research hub that delivers unique analyses and alternative data sets, helping shape investment strategies across multiple asset classes, according to EIN Presswire.
Key features of the Acuity Research Terminal on IBKR:
- Diverse Asset Class Coverage: Investors using the Acuity Research Terminal can explore various asset classes, including stocks, commodities, indices, currencies, and cryptocurrencies. The platform allows users to focus on a single asset class or monitor all five simultaneously for a broader market perspective, making it a versatile tool for investors with different interests.
- Detailed Calendar Events: The integration includes comprehensive corporate and economic event calendars, crucial for tracking market-moving events. The Corporate Calendar helps users stay updated on important corporate events such as earnings announcements, dividends, IPOs, and mergers and acquisitions. These can be filtered by sector, company, or region for targeted insights. The Economic Calendar offers a macroeconomic view, allowing investors to filter events by country, date, and impact level, helping them anticipate significant economic shifts.
- AssetIQ for Enhanced Insights: AssetIQ is a tool designed to provide investors with insights into potential opportunities by analyzing proprietary data points such as market dynamics, volatility, sentiment, and media coverage. This data-driven approach enables investors to make more informed decisions by highlighting opportunities across various markets.
- NewsIQ Powered by Dow Jones: This feature delivers comprehensive market sentiment analysis by tracking asset performance across news sources. Investors can monitor trends through visual aids, categorizing assets into four key areas: Warning Signs, Best Performers, Worst Performers, and Growth Potential. NewsIQ keeps investors informed of important news developments, highlighting the most influential articles of the week.
“Interactive Brokers is known for its advanced technologies and global reach. Through this collaboration, we are equipping investors with the tools to uncover valuable insights and make informed, data-driven decisions,” commented Andrew Lane, CEO of Acuity Trading.
This new initiative presented by Interactive Brokers and Acuity Trading is aimed at enhancing the research and trading experience for investors worldwide.
