Binance partner receives license in Brazil

Binance partner receives license in Brazil Binance partner receives license in Brazil

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced that its partner Latam Gateway has received a license to operate as a payment institution and issuer of electronic money in Brazil.

The new license will allow Latam Gateway to expand the range of services available to retail and institutional clients in Brazil, making them more secure and of higher quality.

The license also contributes to a deeper partnership with Binance, which will increase the selection of financial services offered, according to the cryptocurrency exchange's official website.

The exchange began working with the payment provider in June 2022 after ending its partnership with another local provider of similar services, Capitual.

Recently, many cryptocurrency companies have flocked to the Brazilian market, as the demand for digital assets in the region has skyrocketed. A few months ago, the head of Coinbase suggested that the Brazilian and Argentine governments legalize Bitcoin for cross-border payments.

Last year, the management of exchange Binance announced its intention to open two offices in Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, and, together with payment system Mastercard, launched a prepaid card in the country that locals could use to make transactions with crypto assets.

We previously reported that Binance launched spot trading through TradingView.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2017, Binance is not only one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges but also a platform for creating cryptocurrency business projects. Plus, there is a maker/taker reward grid for active traders.
