It has been revealed that 22,000 ETH worth $41.1 million were sent from a wallet controlled by Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilke to the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange.

Sources, notably analytics platforms Nansen and Arkham, have identified the wallet as belonging to Wilke.

The transfer took place on Monday morning, June 5. The Ethereum co-founder last transferred assets from this 15,000 ETH address to the same platform.

Currently, Jeffrey Wilke still has more than 150,000 ETH ($280 million) stored at his address.

According to crypto expert Colin Wu (@WuBlockchain), such activity from Jeffrey Wilke's wallet was previously noted 29 months ago (01/06/2021). At that time, he transferred 15,000 ETH from this address to the same platform of the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. This amounted to about $9.1 million at the exchange rate at the time.

After this transaction became known, the price of ether dropped by 3% during the day. The ETH cryptocurrency now stands at $1,815.81.
