Bitget supports EVM Multi-chain

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has become the first platform to add support for EVM compliant addresses.
The new feature aims to improve users' trading experience by allowing a single address for multiple blockchains.
Bitget clients can have an address in Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism, and other EVM-compliant blockchains and L2 networks, Bitget said in its blog.
Users who add an EVM address to their accounts during transactions and include it in their withdrawal network will be able to withdraw funds directly to the EVM address, bypassing a number of intermediate functions such as bridging and switching between platforms.
The launch of the EVM address configuration feature comes after Bitget officially opened access to password-free withdrawals. The move further eases interaction with the exchange and streamlines trading processes, saving users the time they used to spend entering passwords and receiving confirmation messages.
"The blockchain space is extremely crowded and navigating its many technical aspects is a serious impediment for new entrants. Our goal is to drastically cut down the time and effort users need for basic operations. The EVM address feature is one such option that removes associated challenges," said Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget.
Previously, we wrote that Bitget has entered into a collaboration agreement with custodian Copper, which will result in the company joining the ClearLoop network.
Bitget was founded in 2018 and targets traders of all levels. The company is licensed in four countries, which supports its reliability. Also, the exchange has its own trading platform, and its users can trade through both a web platform and a mobile app.
