Gate.io attracts 1.28M new users as trading volume reaches $720B in Q3

The centralized crypto exchange Gate.io has released its report for the third quarter of this year. According to the document, 1.28 million new users registered on the platform during this period, raising the total user count to 17 million.
Gate.io’s total trading volume grew to $720 billion, with $320 billion in spot trading. The Gate.io Web3 ecosystem currently supports over 100 blockchains with a total value locked (TVL) of $560 million.
New Listings and Giveaways
From July to September 2024, 32 new projects were launched on the platform, and 35 giveaways totaling $6 million were conducted. In September, Gate.io introduced a pilot trading section, attracting new companies and traders.
To expand staking options, the Gate Earn platform offered users access to new products with more than $90 million in locked assets. The number of trading strategies on the platform surpassed 200,000.
In addition to its core activities, Gate.io is involved in education and philanthropy. Gate Charity organized around 20 charitable events across eight countries, providing aid to approximately 1,000 people. Meanwhile, the Gate Live platform conducted 13,000 live streams with market analysis and trading strategy sessions. Two other divisions, Gate Learn and Gate Research, published over 1,000 articles, courses, and research reports.
