One of Tesla's lead attorneys, Adam Gabor Mehes, has decided to resign from Musk's $258 billion lawsuit related to alleged manipulation of the Dogecoin (DOGE) market. The lawyer has been in the position for less than a year and has been heavily involved in many lawsuits related to Elon Musk.

Tesla's legal department has already asked the court to engage a new attorney, Allison Huebert, who previously worked at the law firm Quinn Emanuel on the DOGE market manipulation case, according to Coincu.

Elon Musk has previously denied allegations that he owns the Dogecoin whale. He has also repeatedly denied allegations of market manipulation and insider trading related to DOGE, despite claims from investors that he used his social media accounts to pump money.

Elon Musk's lawyers have also secured an admission that his tweets are harmless and incapable of influencing the market.

"There is nothing illegal about posting support on Twitter or sharing funny photos of a cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of nearly $10 billion. The court should end the plaintiff's imagination and dismiss the complaint," Musk's lawyers wrote.
