Bitget launches local exchange in Turkey

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget announced the opening of its official website in Turkey as part of its plan to expand its global coverage.
Bitget decided to take this step because it considers the Turkish crypto market to be one of the fastest-growing and most promising in terms of cryptocurrency adoption.
Bitget Turkey is a brand new fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchange focused on spot trading of fiat money for all Turkish residents, according to the exchange's official website.
Bitget TR users will now be able to deposit and withdraw Turkish Lira via bank transfer, as well as trade the cryptocurrency directly through spot trading with TRY pairs.
"The launch of Bitget TR allows us to provide localized, convenient, and compliant crypto services to users in Turkey," said Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget.
As a reminder, Bitget earlier registered as a VASP service provider and also launched a new platform in Hong Kong.
Bitget was established in 2018 and caters to traders of all levels. The exchange has more than 8 million users in more than 100 countries and regions, as well as its own trading platform.
