Binance launches the Shield Merchant Program for P2P sellers

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced that it has launched the Shield Merchant Program on the Binance P2P platform, intended to better protect user assets and improve the user experience.
Binance P2P is a platform that allows merchants to buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly to other merchants. Merchants on Binance P2P can earn money by posting deals and conducting transactions on the platform.
The Shield Merchant Program provides a level of compensation to legitimate users who sell cryptocurrencies if their bank accounts are frozen after receiving the corresponding payment, according to Binance's official website.
Binance P2P will screen and evaluate all sellers on the platform against a set list of requirements, including activity history, after which eligible applicants will be invited to apply for the program.
Once the application is approved, a "Shield Merchant" badge will be added to the qualified merchant's profile as proof of their eligibility for the service.
We previously reported that Binance's market share in the cryptocurrency market continues to decline for the fourth consecutive month.
Binance is one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges, with its own platform based on the TradingView toolkit. The exchange offers its clients access to more than 400 cryptocurrencies, of which more than 25% are stablecoins used for conversion transactions.
