WhiteBIT enters Australian market to expand influence

WhiteBIT, Europe’s largest crypto exchange by traffic, has officially expanded into the Australian market, marking a strategic milestone in its global growth campaign.
The launch of a dedicated platform tailored for Australian users positions the exchange to serve both retail and institutional investors in a region known for its growing interest in digital assets, reports Cryptopolitan.
A Strategic Step Into the Asia-Pacific Region
The move comes after months of preparation to meet Australia’s regulatory standards. WhiteBIT has secured registration with AUSTRAC as a Digital Currency Exchange Provider and holds an Independent Remitter Dealer license, laying the groundwork for long-term operations in the country.
“Expanding into the Australian market presents a unique opportunity to engage with a highly crypto-savvy audience,” said Volodymyr Nosov, founder and president of WhiteBIT Group. “Our goal is to contribute to the economic well-being and financial independence of both Australian and Asian communities while driving the adoption of blockchain technology on a global scale.”
Australia ranks high on global crypto adoption indices, with recent research showing that 9.6% of Australians own some form of digital asset. The country offers a favorable regulatory climate and a tech-forward population, especially among younger investors exploring self-directed finance and digital wealth management.
Scaling Local Operations and Product Offerings
WhiteBIT has begun with basic spot trading services and plans to roll out its full suite of trading tools, including derivatives, staking, and professional-grade platforms. The exchange is actively building a local team to support operations and ensure compliance with Australian regulations.
Globally, WhiteBIT serves over 35 million users and has onboarded 8 million customers across Europe. With daily trading volumes exceeding $878 million and over 300 trading pairs, the exchange ranks among the top 15 platforms by trust score—on par with names like KuCoin.
Expanding With Transparency and Global Recognition
Founded in 2018, WhiteBIT has gained international credibility through partnerships with brands such as VISA, FC Barcelona, and the Ukrainian national football team. It also collaborates with Bequant to serve institutional traders and is preparing a live trading competition to spotlight its growing derivatives offering.
With its entrance into the Australian market, WhiteBIT aims to enhance access to secure, regulated crypto services and become a key player in the Asia-Pacific crypto economy.
