From now on, all users of the exchange will be able to use Layer-2 for Bitcoin transactions.
For more than two months, Binance worked on the integration of the network, and on July 17, it finally announced its success. Recall that in May 2023, the exchange was forced to suspend withdrawals due to increased commissions.
In June, the CEO of Binance said that his team was working to connect Bitcoin Lightning to the exchange. This network will make cryptocurrency transactions faster and larger. In addition, thanks to the Bitcoin Lightning network, commission costs will be reduced.
This network also greatly improves the efficiency and usability of Bitcoin. Thanks to the Bitcoin Lightning Network, overloading and transaction delays will be almost impossible.
