Cosmos Health, a publicly traded healthcare company listed on Nasdaq, has announced its strategy to accumulate Bitcoin and Ethereum as reserve assets. The company also plans to accept cryptocurrency payments, providing greater flexibility to its clients.
According to the company’s official website, this move aligns with its approach to investing in cutting-edge technologies. Recently, Cosmos Health acquired Cloudscreen, an AI-driven platform for the reuse of pharmaceuticals, further solidifying its commitment to innovation. The company aims to use cryptocurrencies, including but not limited to BTC and Ethereum, to diversify its balance sheet and drive significant growth.
"We view crypto assets not only as potential hedges against inflation and currency devaluation but also as diversification tools with significant growth potential. We are eager to establish a substantial reserve in these assets," said Greg Siokas, CEO of Cosmos Health.

More companies are turning to strategies similar to MicroStrategy’s, which involves actively accumulating Bitcoin as a primary reserve asset. This approach is driven by the need to safeguard capital from inflation and economic instability. Bitcoin’s limited supply of 21 million coins makes it a reliable store of value.
Furthermore, Bitcoin offers a promising avenue for long-term asset diversification. Companies like Metaplanet, inspired by MicroStrategy’s success, see Bitcoin as a means to hedge risks while gaining exposure to the rapidly growing cryptocurrency market.
This strategy is increasingly relevant amid growing institutional interest and the introduction of regulated products like Bitcoin ETFs. By adopting the MicroStrategy model, companies strengthen their market positions and demonstrate leadership in innovation, effectively adapting to the evolving economic landscape.
Recently, Metaplanet issued $11 million in bonds to purchase Bitcoin, further highlighting this trend.
