Coincheck and Brilliantcrypto have entered into an IEO agreement

Cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck and Brilliantcrypto have entered into a partnership agreement ahead of an IEO (Initial Exchange Offering).
IEO is a mechanism in which a cryptoasset exchange takes the lead in vetting and selling new cryptoassets in accordance with Japanese laws and regulations.
So far, four IEOs have been implemented in Japan, and two of them, including the first IEO in Japan, were implemented on Coincheck's IEO platform, according to the Coincheck website.
Brilliantcrypto is wholly owned by COLOPL Inc. and is dedicated to the GameFi market using blockchain technology.
The partnership will allow the companies to work together to create new gaming experiences and advance the GameFi marketplace. Brilliantcrypto is expected to issue the new crypto asset, and the exchange will trade it on Coincheck IEO and then begin processing it on its Coincheck crypto asset trading service.
The new crypto asset will be used in a blockchain game being developed by Brilliantcrypto.
Details of the blockchain game under development will be announced at the WebX 2023 conference, which will be held on July 25, 2023, at the Tokyo International Forum.
"The gaming market is still evolving, and there is a need to create new gaming experiences that combine finance and entertainment using blockchain technology," said Tomoyuki Isaki, Executive Vice President of Coincheck.
"As a leading cryptoasset trading and IEO services company in Japan, Coincheck would like to provide maximum support to all creators who challenge the further development of the Web3/crypto industry and new game designs," he added.
