MANTRA launches $109M fund to boost RWA innovation

MANTRA launches $109M fund to boost RWA innovation Ecosystem fund targets tokenized asset growth

Blockchain developer MANTRA Chain, focused on tokenizing real-world assets (RWA), has launched a $108.9 million ecosystem fund to support growth and innovation in the RWA sector.

The fund will primarily focus on the MANTRA ecosystem and developing a compliance-oriented RWA platform, though company executives say they’ll also back external projects working in the space.

The fund, announced Monday, will deploy capital over four years to startups at all stages of growth, globally.

A high-potential sector

According to John Patrick Mullin, co-founder and CEO of MANTRA, the company will identify investment opportunities through its network of investment partners and incubators, including Brevan Howard Digital, Amber Group, Laser Digital, Shorooq, Valor Capital, and others.

“By working with top investors and incubators, we’re opening doors for visionary founders and teams to join us in building a thriving ecosystem and onboarding more people into the network,” said Mullin.

The launch follows MANTRA’s February 19 approval for a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license in Dubai — a key market for the company. In the UAE, MANTRA has already kicked off several initiatives, including a partnership with Dubai-based DAMAC Group to offer $1 billion in tokenized real estate financing.

Fund organizers emphasize that the initiative will not be limited to internal investments.

“We strongly believe in a non-zero-sum game, where collaboration and an open-arms policy will best serve our community and the industry,” said Gideon Deytz, partner at Three Point Capital.

MANTRA added on its X page:

“If you’re a founder, team, or developer with a vision to bring the world on-chain — let’s talk. MEF (MANTRA Ecosystem Fund) welcomes projects at any stage, on any chain.”

RWA: A leading use case for blockchain

Real-world assets are rapidly becoming one of the blockchain industry's most promising areas of innovation — and MANTRA is emerging as a rare example of a crypto project that has weathered the current tariff-driven market turbulence.

As we wrote, amid a widespread crypto market downturn and a 20-25% crash in many altcoins, blockchain network Mantra, focused on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, posted a 12% daily gain.
