Bybit suspends Demo Trading service for its upgrade
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has announced that it will perform a Demo Trading System update on August 7, 2023, at 3:00 UTC.
During the update, the demo trading feature will be temporarily halted, so the ability to place or cancel orders or perform other actions in the demo trading environment will not be available, Bybit said on its official website.
In addition, the crypto exchange notes that the system's matching and liquidation functions will also be temporarily paused during this time.
It is planned that the Demo Trading System update will take about 30 minutes.
"The upgrade will only impact the Demo Trading features and will not affect live trading in any way. You can continue to trade without any concerns on the live platform during this period. We will promptly notify you as soon as the maintenance is completed," the exchange said in a statement.
Recall that the cryptocurrency exchange recently opened access to the purchase of fiat and crypto through the Web3 platform.
